Every year, before the Spring Festival, it is significant for most people throughout China to join in the Spring Festival travel rush. The only purpose for them who work in other places is to reunite with their family at hometown during the Chinese New Year, which involves the demand of family reunion and the ideas of the importance of family. This web campaign is about this topic and promotes an original literature named Going Home. I highlighted the happy mood of family reunion by using Chinese traditional visual elements in relation to Spring Festival, such as lanterns, window lattice, cloud patterns and bright red and golden colours. With the help of these elements, the illustrations from the book and campaign words were connected and laid out smoothly. This design was published at CCPPG's flagship store at jd.com in 2016. |
